LipSense is a long-lasting lip color that requires a specific application technique to ensure best results. Here's how to apply LipSense:
Start with clean, dry lips. If your lips are dry, exfoliate them with a lip scrub or a soft toothbrush.
Shake the LipSense tube well before use. This helps to distribute the color pigments evenly.
Using the applicator wand, apply a thin layer of LipSense to your lips, starting at one corner of your mouth and sweeping the color across to the other corner. Be sure to apply the color in one direction only, not back and forth.
Allow the first layer to dry for a few seconds, and then apply a second layer of LipSense. Wait a few seconds for the second layer to dry.
Finish by applying the LipSense Gloss over the color. The gloss will help to seal in the color and keep your lips hydrated. You can reapply the gloss throughout the day to keep your lips moisturized.
Note: It's important to avoid pressing your lips together while the LipSense color is drying, as this can cause the color to become patchy or flake off. Also, avoid eating or drinking for a few minutes after applying LipSense to give the color time to set.
