There is no reliable historical record of Julius Caesar's exact height. However, some ancient sources describe him as being tall for his time. The Roman writer Suetonius, who lived about a century after Caesar, wrote in his biography of the emperor that "Caesar was tall, of a fair complexion, shapely limbs, somewhat full-faced, and keen black eyes." Plutarch, another ancient writer, also described Caesar as tall and slender. However, these descriptions are not precise and it is impossible to determine Caesar's exact height with certainty.
