definition final solution

Date : 26-02-2023

The term "final solution" typically refers to the Nazi regime's plan to systematically exterminate the Jewish population of Europe during the Holocaust. The plan was officially called "The Final Solution of the Jewish Question" and was put into action between 1941 and 1945, resulting in the murder of approximately six million Jews as well as other groups deemed undesirable by the Nazi regime, such as Romani people, homosexuals, disabled individuals, and political dissidents. The term "final solution" has since become a widely recognized and deeply troubling symbol of the Holocaust and the atrocities committed by the Nazi regime.
